Hey my name is Per and I have been a fan of Dr.Hook since 1972 when Sylvia,s mother came out. I saw them LIVE first time in Oslo 1975 and it was a great concert that maked me totally HOOKED!! Saw them in 76 and 77 too!! What I love with the band is they do all kind of music from ballads to groove stuff country and even a great blues song called high flying eagle. After the band split up in 83 I have followed Ray Sawyer,s new bands calling himself Dr.Hook feat Ray Sawyer. I had the pleasure to meet Ray several times during the years from 88 and we are good friends and I must say what a performer he is. In 1995 Ray releast a CD called Greatest and latest with 12 new recordings of old Dr.Hook songs and 5 great new songs, it was a great sucses in Scandinavia with gold record in Norway and double platina in Denmark. In 2001 Ray told me that he was working on a new album with only new songs and finelly in 2010 it was releast an album called Captain and it contains 9 great songs where Ray takes us back to his roots with New Orleans style.
