Dennis Locorriere went to see Chocolade paper in a bar in the late 60ties and he was asked if he could play bass and lied then he was in the band. He and Ray Sawyer became lead vocalist and frontmen for Dr.Hook and the medicine show later shortnamed Dr.Hook. Dennis had a great voice and was the lead vocalist thrue many Dr.Hook hits. He and Ray had great harmonies thrue many great songs which pleased us fans soo very well. In the early days Dennis laught and sing and was stoned thrue the shows but it was always a balance, someday it went wrong when he called someone motherfucker and went to jail. It was always crazy in the early days and Dennis was a great part of it with long beard and looked pretty wild. I renember when I saw the band first time LIVE when Dennis was doing High flying eagle waywing like an eagle on the stage never forget it, just like the crazy Hook took us to a serios part when Dennis was doing Kiss it away alone with his guitar when Ray was changing pacht. After Ray left the group in 83 Dennis took the band thrue two more years ending up a farwell tour in 85. Dennis stayed in Nasville for some year, when he was asked to do a one man show written by Shel Silverstein and Dennis shown how great actor he was. Dennis went on the road first with his Norwegian friend Bjørn Jens for some concerts in Norway, then he went over to UK which after a time became his new homeland. Dennis had put on a lot of DVDs CD,s and video with mostly new songs but he also had a sucsessful Dr.Hook hits and historie tour in UK with a DVD. Dennis is still touring UK with band and alone with his guitar!!
